Worker's Compensation Insurance: Provide your employees with more benefits

Most states require by law that every employee is provided workers’ compensation insurance. Not only will this insurance cover diseases and disabling or disfiguring accidents that happen on the job site, but benefits also include lost wages and medical expenses. Generally, you set the limits associated with your policy, but this can be one of the most expensive coverages for contractors.

To help minimize these claims, ConstructSure has maintained relationships with many companies who can assist you with Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) training, loss control, toolbox meetings, and other tools. Common claim limitations that you can set include:

  • bodily injury by accident, which is the maximum amount that you will pay for all claims regarding one accident; and

  • bodily injury by disease, which is the maximum amount that you will pay for all claims for one employee regarding bodily injury caused by disease.

To determine which coverage you should provide your employees – or whether or not you are exempt from providing workers’ compensation – please contact us by calling (800) 414-6333 or emailing us.
